Pixellation Evaluation
In this task we was asked to create an animation which would be creative and simple. Due to the lack of time we was given we kept it short. What went wrong in this in my opinion is that we wasn't creative enough in creating it, with the use of a finger and drawing out the date gives the audience a thought that this is too simple and not that entertaining enough. What could have been improved I would say is that we could have added more things into it such as draw more images or add a a slow moving object etc. As a group we didn't stay faithful to our original idea at first we decided on doing a coca cola animation where the can will go flying from end to
another but as you can see we had not chosen to do it as we did not have enough time.

Football (Joe Clancy)
In this task, you are required to conduct a series of interviews as a part of a Vox Pop. You need to work within a small group and identify a topic that is currently in the news. Once you've selected an appropriate subject area and topic you have to prepare 5 questions.
These 5 questions will be used for your Vox Pops. Once you've selected and agreed within your group upon the topic and prepared your questions you are required to interview at least 5 people. For these interviews you are required to use a video camera and a hand held dynamic microphone.
Me, Omid, Zek, Idris, Siddique and Bilal were formed into a group of 6 individuals and immediately began to think of 5 questions that we were going to go ahead with. All our thoughts and ideas were going to be applied on a word document and from there we would have eventually thought of the 5 questions.
As a whole we all had something in common and that was our interest in football, by introducing this topic we decided to revolve our questions around it. We purely based it around football as each member had some sort of football/sport knowledge this could easily be relatable. We set ourselves a target of 5 questions that we would ask and immediately after discussing as a group we came to a conclusion that the 5 questions we would ask are:
- Who are your favourites for the Champions
League crown and why?
- Do you see an English team progressing to the
quarter finals of the Champions league?
- Do you think the Barclay's Premier League
title is Manchester United's to lose or do you see a late resurgent
Manchester City Fight back to retaining their Premier League title?
- Who has been your Barclay's Premier League
Player of the season and why?
- Do you think England have a chance at the next
world cup in Brazil 2014?
As a
group we were pleased with our questions that we had giving a hard think over
but mainly happy with how the filming and recording went seeing as each person
had given an in-depth answer. Reviewing over what we had completed as a group,
all went well despite the fact there were no disruptions or unnecessary sound,
making the filming and recording look as if it was to a professional standard.
Throughout
the filming the shot we had used was a medium close up we believe that
using this shot we would be able to see the expression on the persons face and
how he/she is feeling by the way he/she answers
Camera man - Sidique Koroma
Interviewer - Zekeria Al Bostani

iStopMotion Movie Evaluation
For this task we was asked to create a Stop Motion animation with a random narrative in groups of three or four. In my group were Zek and Omid, I had played a huge part in our group as I was asked to cut out several different images from media magazines, anything which I thought was interesting and caught my eye I cut out and laid out on the table. We had to choose what to include in our animation this took some time as we had quite a lot of images to include once we chose our favourite ones to include in the animation and thought would come out funny we decided to start right away.
We immediately began to put together what would like the queen head being hovered around by a video camera this could possibly be indicating all lights/cameras are on her then a body comes out of nowhere holding the Union Jack and shades to make her look like a comedian. What went well with this animation is that we made it look funny and quite unique too, the fact there was absolutely no planning behind it made it even more interesting.
